Health Care Reform Leads to ER Overcrowding

Increased coverage doesn't necessarily mean increased access to care.  Medicaid patients make up the highest users of ER care.  Health care reform will add 16 million more patients to the Medicaid ranks.  There aren't enough primary care providers to take care of all these new patients so where do you think they will go when they need help?  That's right, to the ERs which is the most expensive way to care for patients.  True reform needs to address cost and access, not just coverage.  Do you think congress thought about this? Not!!
