Wow! What a novel idea! Think it will catch on? Oh but wait...I thought we already had an open transparent government. Didn't Obama and Pelosi tell us that? Hmmm...I guess it's only open and transparent when they want it to be, not when they are trying to cram bad legislation down our throats. In that case maybe we do need a "read the bill" rule. My question is will they follow it?

Boehner Wants 'Bill Read' Rule House Minority Leader is throwing his support behind a "read the bill" reform that would prohibit the House from considering new legislation until it has been posted on the Internet for at least three days and Congress has had time to read them.
