Black tea party candidate in Illinois calls out Democrats, NAACP (VIDEO) | Washington Times Communities

Black tea party candidate in Illinois calls out Democrats, NAACP (VIDEO) | Washington Times Communities The title is a bit misleading as the article is more about how a conservative black Tea Party candidate was allegedly denied the right to run for state office. Although the candidate herself, Cedra Crenshaw, speaks out against the NAACP the article is mostly about how the local election board, in cahoots with her opponent, voted to keep her name off the ballot.

Regardless of party affiliation, the integrity of the election process should be sacrosanct. No one should be denied the right to run for office if they are doing so legally. This case underscores the critical need for election reform in this country. A corrupt election process leads to tyranny, so you would think we would be fighting like hell to keep the process clean. Oh...wait a minute...could it be that there are elements in this country who want tyranny? Hmmm...
