Changing Tune, Administration Defends Insurance Mandate as a Tax - NYTimes.com So now that the campaign is over and Obamacare is the law of the land, they want us to believe it is a tax instead of an individual or insurance mandate. It's going to be interesting to see how the courts decide this. So which is it, a tax or a mandate? Either way we have to pay it and either way it stinks.
