Nation & World Va. judge dismisses challenge to Obama health care Seattle Times Newspaper Two down, more cases to come. Can't wait for the drama when this law ends up in the Supreme Court!By the time they get this all figured out we will be old and grey, or dead from rationing.  Hmm...maybe that's what they want.  Seems like a great way to crash the system.  Just keep things grinding on and on and on...until people give up or give out.

Napolitano Hasn't Read the Law Either!

First Eric Holder, now Janet Napolitano.  Click on the title to hear Janet Napolitano say she hasn't read the Arizona law.  Although she has not read the law, she has rendered the verdict that it is a bad law and she would never sign it herself.  Without reading it.  Without having a clue what is in it.  What's up with our leaders not reading the bills and laws they either produce or are expected to  sign?????  Here's what's up.  Our leaders don't believe they have to read anything or know anything to make decisions.  They think the American people won't know the difference because we have no clue what they are supposed to be doing in the first place.  Unfortunately we have allowed them to get away with this kind of thinking for a long time so it really shouldn't surprise us when leaders such as Napolitano say dumb things.  The only way to change this mindset is for the American people to learn the business of government, to learn about the responsibilities of our appointed and elected representatives and leaders.  It is time we held them responsible and accountable for their job performance.  The biggest reason the government is in such a mess right now is that We The People have let our leaders go their own way with little oversight.  For example, little oversight and poor accountability created an environment where Congress developed a lot of their voting procedures, traditions, backroom deals, pork projects, and power grabs--a "culture of corruption" as Michelle Malkin would put it.  We are now reaping a the bitter harvest of our failure as a people to take charge of our government.  Can we reverse it?  I think so and I pray so.  The first thing is to believe that we CAN and SHOULD take charge, and we can affirm this through reading the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.  We are smart enough to do this and we have a responsibility to do it.  Secondly, we must educate ourselves by studying our founding fathers.  Then we need to learn about executive, legislative and judicial roles and responsibilities so that we can let our leaders know WE KNOW what they are supposed to be doing and that there will be consequences if they do not perform well.  We The People need to lay out our expectations for our leaders--honesty, accountability, intimate knowledge of the issues, requirements to read thoroughly all bills before voting on them or signing them, among other things.  If we start with these things we can make a huge difference.  How much of a difference, time will tell.  The next two elections will be our bell wether.  In the meantime let's get busy and get educated.  It's now or never!

Court to Hear Arguments on Campus Christian Group

A campus Christian group called the Christian Legal Society has been denied funding and status as a campus group because voting members are required to be Christians and to not engage in sinful lifestyle practices. Click on the title to read the details. The Supreme Court is to hear this case and the decision will establish national precedence for future similar cases.

The decision not to grant funding and status for the reasons given is a direct assault on this group's First Amendment rights. You can bet that campus Muslim groups would not receive the same treatment. On the one hand I am amazed that the Supreme Court would even hear the case but on the other, it goes along with the type of persecution Christians are experiencing in all aspects of society these days. Jesus told us we would be hated by all on His account and even more so as the time of His coming drew closer. It is time for all Americans to wake up to what is happening to our freedom to worship and decide right now what we believe, who we believe in, and what we stand for. When we protect our Constitution, we also protect the Christian principles our country was founded upon. The time to decide is now. Where do you stand?

Is Obama closing GOP leaning car dealers?

The way I see it we have two huge problems here. The first is that apparently only Republican-leaning car dealerships are being closed. At least that is what it looks like at this point, as democratic-leaning car dealerships are staying open. The transparency as to why this is the case is noticably lacking. Chicago style politics at work?

The second, and even more enormous, problem is that of the fifth amendment violation. The fifth amendment states "no person shall be...deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation." Forcing dealerships to close and then sell their assets to companies the government chooses to stay open is just plain wrong. It is time for us all to wake up and recognize that this is a direct, flagrant violation of Constitutional fifth amendment rights! Our forefathers would have called it tyranny! If you own a dealership that is about to be closed, consider a lawsuit to fight for your rights. The rest of us need to contact our reps immediately and demand an investigation.

We can't just lay down and let this happen. We have to fight for our rights! Stay vigilant and keep up the pressure!
