What's in a name?

Why did I name this blog Freedom's Pitchfork? Think about what a pitchfork does. It stirs things up, such as soil and compost, letting in air and light for nourishment and growth. I believe we in this country have become stale and complacent concerning our rights and freedoms. We need a pitchfork to stir us up, enlighten us, remind us of who we are and what this great country is all about. The best weapons we have--our pitchforks--to keep us from losing our rights and freedoms are knowledge and action. This blog is all about turning knowledge into action--action that will be key to saving our country.
