Click on the link for some intriguing insights as to the difference between men and women leaders. The author ponders whether more women leaders would make a difference in the level of philandering that goes on among elected officials. Perhaps it would make a difference. Anthropological studies of cultures led by women show more family style governing practices and far less wars. But I still think that ultimately what it comes down to is the presence of a servant heart. If you are ultimately guided by self serving motives you are far more likely to be corrupted by power whether you are male or female.

Well here you go. A century ago I think that the arguement could be made that women would have a more judicial and balanced system of goverment. They had empathy along with a strong firm hand to met out strict discipline.

In the 1970's, the women's right movement came forward and ushered in a shake up of the foundation we had been functioning on, right or wrong. ( For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction). This created a breakup and a breakdown of the family. Yes women were freed from oppressive and abusive relationships, but it also opened up their freedom to do what ever they wanted. This has led to a breakdown of the family that I personally have witnessed over the last 30 years. I have witnesseed women to become very selfish and trying to become more 'manlike' to keep up with the demands of the male driven business world.

I believe this has damaged the female perspective; their wisdom and strength has been compromised to be more like men. Men and Women are a balance. To have too much of one or the other is toxic. For women to become more like men is an extreme unbalance and we are experiencing this to this day.

Those of us from years ago pine for the ways things used to be. Something was lost-- oh yes-- the power of a man to lead and the power of the woman to ajudicate that lead.

Yes progress has been made to free women from terrible abusive circumstances. Yes women are doing well in business and education.
There is still a "glass ceiling" and a lower pay rate for women doing the same job as a man. And there is so much unfairness toward women as compared to men.
One has to wonder what exactly have women won?

I laugh at these people who want retribution for their families being black slaves. SHIT! Blacks got the right to vote before women!
Women have been slaves to men for thousands of years! Not just a few hundred! Give me a break!
Well let's go then! Give me and my mother and my grandmother and my greatgrandmother and all my sisters and cousins and aunts retribution for all their unjustified suffering and jail time and executions for their suffering at the hands of a man, black white, yellow green.

I just can't believe this. If you go back to the Bible, it is so clear how men and women need to relate in intimate relations. In everyday life, their is always the golden rule to treat others as you want to be treated. Put others before yourself.

Women want to be loved and men want to be repected. The Book of Solomon's Song speaks of this quite eloquently.

The whole world has gone Bizzarro!

Male female, race, religion finance you name it!
