What does U.S. get for missile move? - Ben Smith - POLITICO.com

Shared via AddThis I think the answer here, at least for right now, is that we didn't get very much. All we have gotten is that Russia might be "more likely" to cooperate on Iran's issues. The question we now will be asking is if it was worth selling our European, especially our Eastern European, allies for the "likelihood" of cooperation. If you are going to do business with the Russians the only thing that has the remotest possibility of working is a treaty. Even then it is "iffy" how much real cooperation will be forthcoming. The problem so far with our new foreign policy is that it looks and sounds so good on paper but when it comes to results it seems to fall short. Stay tuned!
