The Burqa: Ultimate Feminist Choice?
Shared via AddThis Oh my goodness how far have we women come if we can embrace the notion that the burqa celebrates our feminism and independence? This is an excellent article explaining the both the fantasy and reality of islamic women's wear. A must read for Western women who may be entertaining the notion that wearing the burqa will bring them respect. For myself I would rather be a sex object than invisible.
