Shocker! TSA's nude scans would miss taped-on bombs So if the scans miss taped-on bombs it is safe to assume that pat downs will become the more prominent search method? And what is next? Cavity searches? The question remains as to how much Americans will tolerate before they stop, or at least greatly curtail, flying?  What is a right, reasonable and above all EFFECTIVE method of search?
