Somali diaspora, however, has never fully assimilated into American culture and they are fast becoming one of the largest Muslim groups to produce homegrown terrorists. Unless we couple profiling with meaningful immigration reform we can look forward to more homegrown terrorists in our midst. Let's hope the FBI and other law enforcement agencies continue to be vigilant and skillful at thwarting their attacks.
