Obama Removes Jesus from Easter Message

When I read this article I have to admit I was shocked but not surprised. I wasn't even going to comment until I read the comments people posted. It really got to me how emotionally charged and downright mean some of the comments were. There was plenty of finger pointing from one side saying that Obama is blessed and anyone who disagrees is a @*%&# and random conjecture from the other side, but nothing to substantiate either side of the arguement. So I decided to put down the facts as recorded by unbiased resources and let's take a look at the situation for what it is, not what people feel.

In my humble opinion, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it is more than likely a duck. So let's take a look at the facts:

Fact 1: Obama was born and raised by a Muslim father.

Fact 2: Obama has been consistently taught by radical religious teachers, namely Farakahn and Rev.Wright, who teach and live principles in complete opposition to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Fact 3: Since being elected to office, Obama has not attended a church service of any kind, not even the churches of Farakhan and Rev.Wright. I wonder why? Could it be because association with extreme radicals could compromise his influence over the people, especially Christians who make up the larger percentage of Americans?

Fact 4: While he did not cancel National Day of Prayer, Obama did not attend this high profile event, an event that has been honored by every president since the beginning of the Presidential Office, regardless of their religious beliefs.

Fact 5: When questioned as to what religion Obama practiced, he reported to media sources that he is Christian; no particular denomination was indicated.

Fact 6: On Easter Sunday, the day every Christian celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, Obama gave a 'holiday greeting' at a church, delivering an exerpt from a sermon given by a military chaplain on Iwo Jima in 1945, where he completely eliminated any mention of Christ.

Click on the the title of this article to review and compare the speech Obama gave Easter Sunday and the speech the chaplain gave at Iwo Jima in 1945. You can see the obvious omission for yourself.

Fact 7: Religious and church leaders have been leading their flocks to believe that Obama is the anointed one and their savior. They have been heard from their pulpits claiming that "God has his hand all over you [Obama]" and is their new messiah. They have preached that Obama is their one true hope, the one to usher peace into the world. Evidence of this is what was preached this past Easter Sunday at the Allen Chapel in Washington, D.C. lead by Dr. Rev. Michael Bell Sr. See for yourself what is being proclaimed from the pulpit. http://www.exposeobama.com/2010/04/05/easter-at-allen-chapel-for-first-family/

Right or wrong, these are the facts. There are many more, I'm sure, but let's deal with these facts for the moment.
If all these facts were isolated incidents, they may be considered to be coincidence, perhaps a fluke. But put them together and a very different picture emerges. Here goes:

Child of a Muslim father, taught and mentored by radical religious leaders whose teachings defy the teachings of Christ, once in office does not go to any church, rebels against a national day of prayer by not attending, claims to be Christian, goes to church and gives a speech which eliminates the message of Christ by hacking up a chaplain's sermon, receives the adoration and praise from preachers and congregants with no acknowledgement of God or God's power. Wow. I don't know about you but when you look at all the pieces together, it smacks of deceit and hypocrisy.

It is my observation that Obama accepts this adulation and praise; I have not seen or heard any attempt on his part to humble himself to any higher power, not to God, not to Jesus not even to Allah. Love of self and the adoration from others leads to pridefulness, haughtiness and arrogance. Hmmm, makes you think.

The beauty of America and the Constitution is that people have the right to believe in whatever religion they want to and to exercise their faith. There are many faiths exercised in America. Others don't even believe in God at all and have the right to exercise that freedom. So what's my point? That whether you believe in God, a higher power, the Universe or not, there are some very serious facts here that should provoke our attention.

The arrogance and pride with which Obama exercises his presidential duties is very close to that of dictatorship. The mere fact that this healthcare bill got passed in spite of the fact that the majority of the American people have been screaming for months "NO!" is indicative of his attitude. He doesn't seem to care what the people think or what they want, he believes he knows best.

He also seems to give the appearance of what the people want, even though he doesn't really go along with it. Example here is that he doesn't feel the need to go to church. If he did, he would have been going to church all along since the beginning of his presidency. People noticed and made comment. " If he's really a Christian, he would go to church." " He doesn't go to church because he's really a Muslim." Questions began to arise and all of a sudden, we see Obama going to church on Easter Sunday. Interesting. I read one comment that Obama was going to the church as a photo op, to give the people the impression he is Christian. I think there is some truth in that.

What stands out here, if people are paying attention, is that Obama is manipulating people into thinking he is one way when he is not. Anyone who manipulates another is a deceiver and a liar.

So what does the Word of God have to say about this?

In regard to arrogance, pride and haughtiness, it is written:

"Pride and arrogance and the evilway and the perverse mouth I hate." Proverbs 8:13

"I will hate the arrogance of the proud and lay low the haughtiness of the terrible." Isaiah 13:11

"Because he exalted himself against the Lord, the fear, the pit and the snare shall be upon you." Jeremiah 48:42,43

"Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall." Proverbs 16:18

"For I was envious of the boastful When I saw the prosperity of the wicked For there are no pangs in their death But their strength is firm They are not in trouble as other men Nor are they plagued like other men Therefore pride serves as their necklace Violence covers them like a garment Their eyes bulge with abundance They have more than the heart could wish They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression They speak loftily They set their mouth against the heavens And their tongue walks through the earth; Until I went into the sanctuary of God Then I understood their end." Psalm 73: 3 - 9, 17

"But when his heart was lifted up and his spirit hardened in pride, he was desposed from his kingly throne and they took his glory from him." Daniel 5:20

"...lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil." 1 Timothy 3:6

"The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, him I will not endure." Psalm 101:5

"For the wicked boast of his hearts desire, he blesses the greedy and renounces the Lord. The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God, God is not in his thoughts, his ways are always prospering Your judgements are far above, out of his sight, he has said in his heart 'I shall not be moved, I shall never be in adversity.' " Psalm 10:3 - 6

"Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord. Though they join forces none will go unpunished." Proverbs 16:5

In regard to hypocrisy, lies and deceit, it is written:

"Seven things are an abomination to [the Lord]: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift to running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren." Proverbs 6:16

"A false witness will not go unpunished and he who speaks lies will not escape." Proverbs 19:5

"Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit according to tradition of men according to basic principles of the world and not according to Christ." Collosians 2:8

"Let no one deceive you with empty words because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience." Ephesians 5:6

"By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words." 2Peter 2:3

"For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." 2 John 7

"For outwardly you appear righteous to men but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness." Matthew 23:28

"Therefore, lay aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy and all evil speaking." 1 Peter 2:1

"That the triumphing of the wicked is short And the joy of a hypocrite is but for a moment." Job 20:5

In regard to religious leaders teaching doctrine in contradiction to the teachings of Christ, it is written:

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, Because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables." 2 Timothy 4:3 - 4

"But heir will be false prophets among people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring themselves to destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed." 2 Peter 2:1

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." Matthew 7:15

""Then many false prohets will arise and deceive many." Matthew 24:11

"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." Mark 13:22

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." 1 John 4:1

"The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail. For the leaders of this people cause them to err And those being led by them are destroyed." Isaiah 9:15,16

"For such are false apostles, deceitful worker, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ." 2 Corinthians 11:13

"They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, they both fall into a ditch." Matthew 15:14

"...that we should no longer be children tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting." Ephesians 4:14

"You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God." Luke 16:15

In regard to those that deny Christ:

"Whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." Matthew 10:33

"Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son does not have the Father, he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also." 1 John 2:22 - 23

"...he who rejects Me rejects him who sent me." Luke 10:16

There are many more scriptures that could be mentioned here, but there is not enough room for them. Some could say this is a very grim scenario. It is for those who are arrogant, prideful haughty liars and deceivers. The Word of God clearly states the outcome for those who defy the Father and the Son. There is a promise soon to be fulfilled: For those who believe Jesus is Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, there is the promise of eternal life in His Glorious Presence. For those who choose the ways of the world and put their faith in men and themselves over God, there is a promise of utter destruction, outer darkness, completely cut off from the light of God.

The word of God gives plenty of warning and tells us that there will be many who follow the world, that we should not be dismayed by the prosperity of the arrogant. It is but for a short time and then their end will come. God uses the prideful to reveal His power. Look how He used Pharoah, when Pharoah in his pride hardened his heart, to free His chosen people.

We should be lifting up our heads, for He is coming soon! We have nothing to fear, for the liars and deceivers, the proud and arrogant, will see Him coming and know their folly. And we will have our victory in Christ! Alleluia! Amen!
