First Citizen of the World

Fantastic piece by Dr Zero from Hot Air. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama so early in his Presidency is but one of many efforts to influence American Politics. For example, isn't it supremely ironic that both major political parties are financed and influenced by two of the most powerful and influential foreign men in the world--George Soros of the Democratic Party (founder of MoveOn.org) and Rupert Murdock of the Republican Party? And there are many other influences to numerous to mention, some small some large, some known and unknown. It seems like everyone else in the world at large has a vested interest in America except Americans themselves. I have been saying all along that it is time for us to wake up and get back to the basic values and principles that gave birth to this country. But we do not live in isolation. If the world has lost its vision of what America should stand for, if we have lost our world status as a beacon of light and hope to the world we will drift ever closer to a new world order where America will simply exist (if we are lucky) rather than shine. But it doesn't have to happen that way. If we wake up in time we can save ourselves, our country and our way of life. The question is, do we have the will to do so?
