Click on the title for a good article in the Wall Street Journal about the Senate Finance Committee's proposal for an insurance co-op plan. Such a plan would still required government oversight with beaurocrats dictating policy and could potentially lead to socialized medicine. It is the government oversight committee that worries me the most. It still represents a lack of freedom of choice.
