Obama Surrendering Control of the Internet to Foreign Powers

Click on the title to read about how Obama is moving to cede control of the internet to a foreign governing body such as the UN. The internet was invented in the US and since that time the US has had control of it. The international community has been pressuring the US to relinquish control on the premise that it is too valuable a communication tool to be managed by just one country. To me, this is another one of those on-the-surface-it-sounds-good ideas. We may think that surrendering control will buy us more international cooperation and good will. But it will not. Obama seems ready willing and eager to surrender control without getting much in return for the US. He seems to be operating on the premise that a foreign governing body will control the internet as well as or better than the US. In fact he seems more willing by the day to turn the US over to world control. Rule the internet, rule the world. Contact your senators and congressmen today and tell them to fight ceding control of the internet to any foreign governing body!
