He should have been at the Centennial.

And yet with his narcissistic, anti-American, Marxist views, maybe it is best he stayed away.

Election Day From Hell � Blue Collar Republican Republicans swept the county and local elections August 5th, even in predominately democratic areas. Shelby County TN is a blue county so this is pretty amazing. In fact it is so unusual and unprecedented that at least one Demoratic candidate is crying foul. Democratic candidate for sheriff, Randy Wade, refuses to concede and may call for an FEC investigation. Blue Collar Republican describes some electronic SNAFU's that may give fuel to an investigation. Hopefully they can get all this straightened out by the next election but otherwise I am thankful that this election went smoothly without any evidence of threat or intimidation. In fact the state of TN had it's highest turnout ever for early voting--over half a million voters! Power to the people!

A Wonderful Mark Luttrell Robo-Call Mark Luttrell is the Republican candidate running for Shelby County Mayor in the Greater Memphis TN area. This "robocall" comes from his opponent Joe Ford. It is a great example of how a negative ad can turn positive--for the other side! Mark Luttrell couldn't have written a better ad for himself so now he benefits from free advertising--ha! Just an example of how negative campaigning can backfire. The primary elections are today so go vote!!!!!!!

Illegal immigrant who killed nun in accident was released by feds - Washington Times This happened in Prince William County, Virginia and is poised to become a high profile immigration case, that is if the mainstream media cares to report it. This is a very tragic case and I do hope it becomes a lightning rod for immigration reform.  As tragic as it is, however, it is one of hundreds of thousands of similar cases that happen all the time across the nation.  This case and others like it highlight the desperate need for real reform that can actually solve problems, secure the borders and protect citizens. One thing that is crystal clear is that Immigration Reform needs to start with THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ENFORCING THE LAW.  Why this hasn't happened is anybody's guess.  But it needs to happen now, before more people are killed.
