Pelosi Says She Has The Votes

So now Nancy Pelosi is saying she can get the votes needed to pass health care reform. Click on the title for details. She is nothing if not tenacious and determined to do this for "the American people." We should take her determination very very seriously and not let up for one instant on our efforts to contact our senators and congressmen, telling them not to vote for this monstrosity. Don't underestimate this lady's power and bull-headed determination to get her way. I think the reason we are seeing so many dem retirements is that they are trying to get away from her! Honestly I think she is in the wrong field. She should work for the CIA. Who needs waterboarding when you can have Nancy Pelosi twist your arm?

Obama Surrendering Control of the Internet to Foreign Powers

The internet was invented in the US and since that time the US has had control of it. The international community has been pressuring the US to relinquish control on the premise that it is too valuable a communication tool to be managed by just one country. To me, this is another one of those on-the-surface-it-sounds-good ideas. We may think that surrendering control will buy us more international cooperation and good will. But it will not. Obama seems ready willing and eager to surrender control without getting much in return for the US. He seems to be operating on the premise that a foreign governing body will control the internet as well as or better than the US. In fact he seems more willing by the day to turn the US over to world control. Rule the internet, rule the world. Contact your senators and congressmen today and tell them to fight ceding control of the internet to any foreign governing body!
